Bilsteins at 2.5 on a 2wd Prerunner. Can I get away without new ucas?

    I've got Bilsteins ready to install and I've heard about possible nightmares with alignment at 2.5 but wasn't sure if my truck being a 2wd makes a difference. Do I really need new ucas at 2.5 or can I get away with the stock ones? any experience with this advice is appreciated

    You'll be fine at 2.5". It's that extra ½ inch that fucks everything up. At least that's what all my ex's have told me.

    The only problem that I have read from others that went 2.5" is that they get vibrations with it. Some get it, some don't. Luck of the draw

    I am still thinking of going with 2.5 from my current 1.75. Waiting on some new uca's just in case... I don't want to half ass it... But like someone above said, luck of the draw..

    I'm not positive one way or the other but IIRC vibes were because of the front diffs on 4x4s. Someone chime in here please

    ^ shoot, i dont know...it rode like a truck?!;)

    the ride was as smooth as can be i guess...the spring rate is lower on the OEM coils, so compressing them preloads them a little, but nothing to crazy.

    Bilstein 6112/5160 set at notch 2/3, OEM TRD Pro Wheels, 275/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks, OEM TRD Pro Grill, Debadged, Ceramic Tinted Windows
    My truck drove like shit with stock arms and over 1.5 inches of lift. I guess those of you that are good are lucky with it. Now that I am at .85 it drives a ton better and my tires are way closer to 0 camber than I could ever get them before.
