24F was stock battery in 2nd gen 4 and 6 cylinder trucks however the 2nd gen V6 with tow package had the 27F battery. So we got the cheapo battery from Toyota. That is probably why so many of us had batteries die at under 20k miles.

Sweet. Did that decal on the grille logo mess with your sensors?

Nice. I thought about doing my gas cap as well on my white truck. Do you like it?

I love it. Did the same on my FJ Cruiser and it lasted several years with little wear and a moderate amount of off roading

Just not sure how it would look on a white Limited with white fenders. And I still need to do something about the door handles. I did already dip the mirror caps black. 20171223_140716.jpg

Pretty sure that I saw a list of part numbers somewhere in the owners manual.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
I'm getting bulbs together for an all-interior swap. According to the led replacement sticky, the vanity lights are 6612F, 30mm fuse type lights.

These are the ones from the sticky:
    https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...md-led-vehicle-vanity-fuse-lamp-30mm-car/243/

...but one can search evilBay for "fuse vanity led light". Anything 29 or 30mm and 12 volt should work.

I'm tempted to go with the single-led replacement as shown in the link rather than the multi-led units found on evilBay. Seems like you wouldn't want to be blinded by very bright lights when using the mirror (not that they'll ever really get used).

I purchased the whole kit from one of our TW brothers. Can't remember who it was but it was a bulb to led swap, one for one. If I remember where I put the mylar envelope they came in I'll post the @members TW name. It was around $20. One stop shopping and a HUGE improvement over the dull yellow incandescent bulbs Toyota put in there.

First time you get an eyelash or something in your eye you'll be glad you did the vanity mirrors.

Toyota part.jpg Toyota vent assembly.jpg Toyota vent mounted.jpg Toyota vent hose.jpg Toyota diff vent.jpg My version of moving the rear Diff vent with Toyota parts. Tools used 14mm open end, 12mm open end, 10mm socket and wrench, panduit zip tie tool or side cutters, hose square end cutter or knife. Safety first, let someone know you will be under your truck. Safety glasses. Raise rear of truck as high as you can without lifting rear wheels off the ground. Lower and remove the spare tire. If this is the first time your spare has been down put the valve stem down when you re-mount it. We are going to relocate the Diff vent to the highest point on the rear of the truck. This is inside the rear driver side tail light location. Remove the tail light assembly and set it on the tail gate. Using the OEM parts in the photo make up the vent end of the hose as shown in the photo, tape over the other end of the hose to keep dirt out for now. With the OEM hose clamp and snap it into the existing hole as shown in the photo. The vent must be on the opposite side of the side plate from the tail light assemble or it will not clear the light assembly. Now run the hose through the hole in the bottom and follow factory wiring harnesses till you reach just above the Diff. Make sure the hose is clear all sharp parts and zip tie it to the existing wire looms. Now clean very well around the stock Diff vent and remove it. After applying Teflon tape to the new part install it into the Diff. Now run the hose to the new fitting as seen in the photo, trim any excess hose and mount with OEM hose clamp. Zip tie as shown and make sure the hose is all down hill from directly under the bed to the Diff fitting. Well, that was my Saturday morning.
