Took today to button stuff up for my 2 week long Santa Fe, Ouray, Silverton, Telluride, Gunnison trip. Got rid of my squeaks, turned out to be my spherical bearing in my ADS at the lower shock mount bolt. Hit it with some TriFlow, problem solved. Although I did also hit my entire leaf packs with PB Blaster Teflon spray just for preventive maintenance. I'm quiet as a mouse now. Loaded to the hilt with skottle, surplus water and fuel and everything in between. CANNOT WAIT TO ESCAPE THIS SWELTERING HEAT FOR TWO WEEKS!!!

Hows that weather in texas? I know cali and others have been having issues in the 90s and fires. Water and fuel will load down the rig more than anything so good thing you have the bags to counter the weight, have a good time

The weather here, in Texas? Brother...it sucks, when I get up in the morning at 4:45 it's already 82 degrees and just climbs from there. 28 years of this and I'm ready to put it behind me. But trips like I have coming up give me something to look forward to. And yes, with what I loaded up today, the bags are coming through for me, just shot a few more psi in and I'm good to go. Worth their weight in gold. I bet over the last few days loading up for the trip, I added atleast another 4-500# and the bags took it like a champ. My truck is really riding so nice with the weight and the ADS. Did you decide on ADS or King?

fox c/o w/king coil up front and kings in the rear -- odd,I know lol. The rear will have to wait a bit since they are 12" travel. I have to slice out the old shock towers and burn in the taller ones

built those brackets and swapped them in today when i replaced my shackles. There were several observations:

    pros:
    - they gave me back about 2 inches of up travel
    - lowered the cradle as they were expected to

    Cons:
    - the design of the bracket and thickness of the bends to the lower mounts offset the u bolts further away from the leaf pack creating a gap between the leaf and ubolts
    - the metal on this bracket was much thinner so it bowed a little at the ends when torqued down to the 75 spec.

my decision to use these? im not sure anymore solely because of the gap created in the design of the bracket and having space between the leaf and the ubolts. Might go back to drawing board and mock up a plate to weld to the cradle plate that bolts to the original all pro ubolt flip plate like you originally posted. More solid, stout, and it allows tight clearance of ubolts to the leafs for security

Dang man, sorry. I saw it in my head just like that. Didn't think of the "gap" issue until you said it. Makes sense. Well, what I did with my setup is working great, and it's easily removed if I need to, if you can go that route I think you will be happy with the structural integrity of it. However, your back at square one as far as your up travel. Keep me posted

yeah the gap would have been tolerable if it wasnt so large, i believe the ubolts last i measured it sat 1/2" from their original spots. Hasn't given me driveability issues but i can imagine with that much moving room for the leafs, it wouldnt be surprising if it created a weak point while wheeling.
