The engine doesn't even try to fire. We tried several trigger changes and none of them showed any sign of life. The good news is that most of the sensor seem to be functional and show data.

I would look to see if if you fuel pump is on the correct dpo/avi and check that your getting fuel pressure. even with the timing off it should try to fire or sputter at the least.

Just remembered you uploaded your map.

Your home errors are probably cause you are not getting it started based on the map it will not read home until 1000rpm. It should start in half sync with quick start, then once the engine gets over 1000 rpm it should find its home signal and full sync.

You could turn off quick start but you will need to lower the minimum rpm on the home signal.

If you are going to set the timing/tdc offset make sure you turn off quick start as it uses wasted spark to get the engine started when cranking. If you leave it on you could set the trigger offset 180 out when using direct fire ignition.

    1. do you have fuel?
    2. can you hook up a timing light and get a reading - if it does you are getting spark
    3. does haltech show RPM when cranking- if it does your crank sensor is hooked up

If you can confirm all of these then I would suspect your TDC angle is off.

You can start the truck without a home signal you will need to change settings, but if you have the bare minimum of the 3 things above you can start the truck in generic-missing tooth-no home trigger type, with batch fire fuel and wasted spark ignition.

Based on the map it looks like the idle control is not programed or assigned to a DPO

I have 65-70 psi at the regulator. I have spark I checked that by pulling a plug with the coil attached and grounding it while cranking the motor. i just borrowed a timing light so thats next on the list. The haltech does show rpm when cranking

Your going to need a hand or remote start button to crank the truck with looking at the timing mark too.

I would suspect TDC angle, but all the Tacomas I have see run 95 degrees +/- 10 degrees.

I would look into the idle control also this is what is going to keep it running after it starts.

If TDC checks out I would look into probing the injectors to see if they are getting power.

Alright, good. Now let me give this example of my own, when trying to get mine started for the first time. I called Haltech to get some advice from them. Nothing I was doing would work. They remote accessed. Looked over everything very quickly and all was good. Then asked me to try to start it. Nothing. As usual. Little faults came up showing what it was that was preventing starting. Went back to the functions page, and asked if I had "Ignition" as well as other functions, such as fuel pump, and a few others, wired up for the Haltech to control. I said no. He removed them, and asked me to start the truck. They were not RED, but they were there causing an issue because the Haltech want uses those as if it is controlling them. Truck started immediately and easily.

May or may not be your issue. I didn't go into that detail before, but I feel it necessary this time. Maybe it will help, or maybe it has already been addressed.

Yes i think currently I have those off. I didn’t get to touch it much this weekend after Friday... family and life got in the way. I have a battery charger on trickle overnight and I’ll be trying to bust through tomorrow for sure. Just gotta get out ofwork and pick up a wifi extender so hactackular can remote in.
