Yeah! My dad and I did it in the garage. Wasn’t hard at all and I’m super happy with the results

    A vague post

I'm not one to put a company on blast via social media, but I'm going to be contacting a certain company about the fitment of their product. I'm hoping we can find a solution because I'm no longer stoked about the product.

Making progress on removing the bedsides on my donor bed. A good spotweld bit is absolutely imperative.

A nice pneumatic air scraper helped to remove the spray-in bed liner.

Worked on my Satoshi a little more today. The mesh is semi-gloss so I went with a black semi-gloss for the inner lip to match. Bad idea. It highlights all the imperfections. Should’ve went flat black, or just done better with the sanding and Bondo.

    :eek:Where are the 2nd electrodes?

What size batteries are ya'll running that the stock hold down wont hold it. Stock size was a group 35 which are the correct height for the hold down to be effective.

I seem to be noticing some loss of power recently. I’m going to clean the MAF and probably gonna try to brave up and take the throttle body off and clean it also. Plugs are only a couple years old as well as fuel filter. Anything else I should check out this week?

Edit... driving up a hill today that I normally go up in 5th about 50-55, today it was hogging down to about 45 and had to shift to 4th. Seems I’ve noticed similar recently from it. It’s the 3.4 5 speed

Ill get around to it someday. But I think I wanna buy a replacement grill from Rock Auto to do it on so that I dont fudge up my original grill. That and I want to keep the chrome there or if I have to, color match it red, but not black. I refuse to join the black truck parts mafia.

It’s long gone. I sold it nov 2016.
It looked like this when I sold it. Very used, but still working very wel
    [IMG]

On the new truck I’m hoping do something similar. But a little smaller. Make it into a little little crawler. I had he rzr for almost 2 years but got bored of it, I have a 4runner now, had it for 2 months and it’s fun but almost too beat already to really take pride in. Very fun a cheap rig but it’s time for something a little nicer.

It was a sh**load of work, mostly sorting out the electronics, and parts, but in the end, I love my BMW 6 way power, leather, heated, lumbar seats.
