It gets the rear Diff breather above the water fording line. Toyota has the front Diff breather high in the engine compartment but didn’t raise the rear.

    No doubt.

Doesn't mean everyone is gonna like it.....but he already alluded to knowing that when he posted.

I guess to some degree I'm guilty of "false up-badging" due to replacing my SR5 grill with a Sport grill.

Turns out that I had to if I wanted to use my bull horns Toyota logo....when I went to install it....found a plastic piece that interfered with the fitment of the new emblem....same piece wasn't there on the Sport grill and it fit perfectly. I may go back and modify the SR5 grill so it fits....at some point.

To each their own brotha... but I will say Badges is a completely different statement compared to grills, headlights, tails or anything that says pro...... It’s like seeing an integra type R badge on a LS... or an M3 badge on a 318i etc. A rubicon badge on a base Jeep.

Props for doing what you like....

My truck has all Pro exterior... looks just like a pro with the exception of my
Volks and lift. I just couldn’t rock the badges.... I just don’t have the balls to do that... so shame on me...

Shoot I got an SR5 and I don’t have a single item that has a TRD logo.

I guess I just don’t wanna be called a poser

    I fully agree.

    I wouldn't do it, either.

Comes from my days as a Mustang GT owner......knew a dude who had the same model as I did....and he put Cobra badging on his. Poser was the exact term I used to describe it.

I wanted to swap out the incandescent turn signal bulbs with LED, but that didn't work. Flashed really quick so I swapped out the brake lights instead. What would I need to do to use LED bulbs for turn signals on a 2018 TRD OffRoad?

LEDs draw much less power than incandescent bulbs. I've not yet swapped turn signal bulbs to LED (that about the only ones left on my Taco that aren't LED). That said I don't have first-hand experience with this on the Taco but I have done it on other manufacturers vehicles, German cars like to throw a bulb out code when swapping to LEDs due to the reduced power draw. The rapid flash is what happens when you do have a bulb out. You may want to try swapping both front and rear turn signal bulbs to LED. Hopefully others reply as I will be doing this swap in the future,

This is awesome! i'm doing this mod for my knees! the hard plastic on my knees is the equivalent of stepping on lego's barefoot. So you just ordered the bed rug tail gate cover? How's the double sided tape holding up? what kind did you use?
