They'll both fit. He didn't really know what he was talking about. The pro grille will most likely be stopped by Toyota before it gets to you, I wouldn't count on it arriving. There's a picture of the 16 glossy.

Yea Im a bit worried about that. Do you know if the matte only come in 17"? Are they called FN FX pro? Was hoping to still use stock 16" tires.

The Toyota matte pro wheels only come in 17. The FN are a wheel made to look like them, they aren't real pro wheels if that makes a difference to you. They may make a 16, I'm not sure. Some 16s don't clear our calipers, so I'd really be sure before buying. The Toyota ones do for sure.

Thanks, I'll probably stick with the Toyota 16" TRD pro then. But the 17" fits for sure? Just need new tires?

Yes. There's an entire thread dedicated to the matte wheels and BFG 265/70/17. Literally hundreds of people on this site have them without issues.

Cool, the sales guy is going to help me purchase the matte trd pro's. The parts guy kept trying to tell us that my vin # will not fit and kept mentioning no refunds.

I ordered the 16" Pro Wheels which took forever to get due to FedEx losing them, considering buying some Wildpeak Tires or just transferring the stock Goodyears over.

Could these be the wheels you're looking for? If so, why not just oder online? Ebay is also a great place to look for wheels. A lot of online dealerships list them. Dealership is probably pulling your leg. Just look online, you can even order the 18 TRD pro wheels. Check out the link below:

Welp, Toyota called and cancelled the order, this is getting more complicated than expected. Only thing I wanted to do to the truck was the trd grille, wheels, and tints.

I just did the SR bezel swap. $90 from the dealership. Nothing funny with any sensors and it actually looks really good.

    Bottom before, top after.

I ordered the matte from these guys on Sunday and they will be arriving today.
Olathe Toyota Parts Center. With $100 for shipping so the total order was $788.

Truck looks awesome! Is the offset different? Do the wheels stick out slightly more than stock?

Cause the Parts guy was a dipshit and didn't help a guy out. Probably cancelled because he doesn't own a pro.

Trying to avoid ordering online since I stay in apartment complex I will probably have to order them online tho or go with 16" pro which the dealer may be able to get. TRDshop dot com was running free shipping up to $100 credit for the Fourth. Got the tints done today.

This isn’t exactly right. Higher ply count can mean higher weight, but not always. The biggest change comes in the stress the tire can be placed under.

Nitto tires are an example. Their C and E rated tires are nearly identical in weight.

You’re likely not going to tell a difference between C and E. Both are jarring in comparison to what the truck comes with stock, and you’re going to drive yourself insane trying to compromise on a tire. Get something highly rated and fits the aesthetic you’re looking for (since some tires are undoubtedly a little crazy aggressive looking).

The dealer not wanting to sell you TRD Pro wheels from the 4Runner doesn’t want to make money. They’re not special order wheels..

Unless you can find a dealership that's going to help you out without raping you, online ordering is your best route. Most shipping companies have special delivery instructions that you can modify. Fedex can leave you package at a Walgreens of your choice. I've used this several times. Ordering through Amazon, you can also have it shipped to an Amazon locker somewhere closest to you. UPS, have it delivered to a UPS store near you for you to pickup after work. USPS, have them hold it at the post office until you're able to pickup. All ways to get around having things shipped to your apartment.
