Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

Drove past laguna seca which was cool. Saw the fields which is my type of view and was awesome. The hills and mountains are beautiful. The view from my apartment front window is the Monterey bay.

Seen SO many nice cars.

It is $$$ here. Like even bottled water and ibuprofen is higher than normal lol.

But slept with the windows open last night and it got cold as shit which was cool too.

So far it’s awesome here. Ima move here for sure.

Oh I do. I don't post these things to say "I told you so" or to reflect poorly on @weldertaco or his girl. More just a reaffirmation of reality. Military life is hard for both the service members and family. The family suffers just as much and yet goes unnoticed and unrecognized.

 

I agree. I've got lots of family that were/are military and saw the impact on their families. It's hard.

 

Nah, not trying to talk him out of anything, just offering free advice from experience so at least there is some knowledge of what to expect. End of the day, he do, what he do and my advice is worth every penny he paid for it
