What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Cleaning the sand out of the truck, with the help of my little helper, after being in OBX this past week.

 

Got my pilar gauge pod mounted. Yes, it's just two bolts. But it wasn't made to fit this year of tacoma. 2 hours of careful dremel work. My other gauges come Wednesday. Dual afr's mounted on the column, boost and temp on the pilar. All aem x-series.

 

Are they both easily read from the seat?

 

In my opinion yes. Have read complaints. But for what it is and the options we have I'm very happy. The paint match isnt 100% perfect, but its damn close. I'm not sorry I bought it. I also have the cravenspeed column mount. Happy with that too.

 

Where did u get those pods at. I hate not having a oil gauge an ammeter and a decent coolant temp guages.

 

Painted the lower bumper that was looking crappy and gray. Rustoleum trim paint.

Got the back shelf and ARB fridge mounted today, love how it turned out

 

Successfully completed install of DC ditch tracks on an AC. 30 11/16" each side between the end caps. Many thanks to whoever showed me their's at the Santa Rosa M&G. I'll swing by the car wash tomorrow after work for a wet trial. Been waiting for the fires up north to ease up and the smoke to disperse and this is a good opportunity to swat two winged critters. Now I want to make up some two-hole T-nuts for mounting the Thule bars and order some T-slot covers.

 

How much heat do those generate and could you fan/duct it through the rear cab wall vent.

 

Lotek. They claim to only fit 05-09. Theryre right. Careful dremel work and they fit sweet. Just dont ne in a hurry.

 

Think they have exact fit for a 93 too.

 

Pretty straight forward, you have to get the wiring harness for the radio that plugs into your existing wires. I don't have the steering wheel controls but I know they sell the harness for that also. I tied into the rear backup light so the camera automatically comes on when I put it in reverse.
