Simple mod today. Replaced my OEM chrome exhaust tip with a OEM black chrome tip. part #

FYI, I didn’t trust the supplied adhesive for the letters, so I used a two part appoxy.

Went to Hollister Hills today. Didn’t get a chance to take any pics of the Taco, but did get a couple pics of the obstacle course. This was first time out there in years. Was too busy exploring the trails and trying not too take a wrong turn somewhere. I’ gonna make a point of getting more pics to post next time. Obstacle courses looked pretty fun for the right rig.

Good idea Ours is twice the size of the little half shelf they put in the 2016 & 17. It works in 2016-18 models.

 

Installed these sick bed lights and cleaned the engine bay up a bit. Also did the plastic trim around the rest of the truck as an afterthought.

 

I have skids abd sliders ordered with RCI also. Did you go steel or aluminum? I went with aluminum but I think I will be changing that tomorrow .

I went steel skids and have used them pretty good so far. I thought about aluminum but wanted the strength for the underbody.

So I finally installed my 32" Auxbeam 5D Dual Mode light bar today. It's mounted to a N-Fab light mounting system. For the life of me though, I cannot find any access to the cab! Unless I make one.







That grommet with the one wire was my go to but all it does is go into the cowl area. Unless there is something behind the master cylinder.

There are openings in the firewall matting but no grommets. There's a huge grommet lower on the firewall but it has too much going on already.



I have more photos but I'm hoping someone else with a 3rd gen automatic, that has power steering and A/C can shad some light. I did not get under the truck but if I have to I will.

Otherwise I think the light looks great on the mount out in the open like this.
