I was done with school, out of money, my lease was up, I had just flipped my daily driver... Lots of reasons. I had the job in in waiting for me. Now I feel like I could go back and do it right, this past year has just felt like a big false start, keeping everything temporary so I can move back easier.

That's good. I'm sure you won't miss the heat, haha. What was your old DD for the Cruiser?

I take it they started rusting on the bottoms? I've noticed a few Tacomas in my area where the bottoms start rotting where the seam sealer is applied. By the time most people notice it's over and the door is junk

Before the cruiser I had my green truck, that was my only vehicle when I rolled it in Oregon. Lasted me another 600mi before I got the cruiser and the rest if the rebuild after that is history.

The whole reason cops got called on us every time was for burnouts and revving and two step flames haha. The convo was just to gather people with out making a public page, that way it was all friend of a friend type people. We'd all hop on our phones send the next meeting place and race each other there.

I'll be having the front half of my truck done in late August. The hood has a ton of rock chips and the divers door has rust starting in that seam. There's no rust through, but we're going to replace the door with new OEM

I'm still questioning my sanity for wanting to go this far. I want a top notch job like what I did on my truck bed, but the price hurts. I'm looking at well over $4500 with the parts. I think it's only going to grow from there because I might was well order a new windshield. I'm surprised my front windshield is still original
