Morning everyone and happy Sunday.

 

Where did you have the powdercat done?

 

Truck is FINALLY clean. Washed, clayed and sealed. Didn't bother polishing because it's not swirled enough you can really see with the silver. Came out pretty nice though. I need to get out to my yard soon though, I've got vines growing up through my grass and it's kinda embarrassing.

 

Yup time to fire up the tractor for me. Do you use a dethatcher or aerator.?

Whats up guys! What tires are you guys running? Need to upgrade and would like some eye candy. If you have a SR5 not lifted, that would be even better.

Also, anyone running a dedicated winter tire? I've only been around for 2 winters and have not had problems driving during winter with stock tires (for the most part). No highway miles really, mostly 2 lane back roads that do get plowed eventually. No such thing as snow days for me, 30 miles round trip 5 days a week and it sits on the weekends.

I'm from California so this winter stuff is an inconvenience!

 

KO2s for three seasons, dedicated snow for the 4th.

In my experience I still need/use 4WD in the snow but don’t have weight in the bed for traction either.

Once my snows age/wear out I am not sure what I will do for another tire for my winter wheels. General has the new Grabber ATX that I am interested to learn more about. Since I’m lifted I’d like to get a 265/75 tire so I’m not on short tires again. We will see though.

 

Anyone we know?

 

I use Goodyear Wrangler duratracs all year round

Nuno, I have a couple mats that you can put under those car seats in the back to protect the seats, if you want them.

Picked up a new set of cleats today. These cleats haven’t changed in over 20 years. They were awesome when they first came out and still an extremely comfy shoe! Nuno might recognize them

 

Todays my wifes birthday. We hung out with the family at Benton Point Park in Newport RI earlier and now were at the Brick Alley Pub for dinner.

I was in CO this week for a wedding, and wow, lots and lots of awesome off road vehicles all over. Saw lots of tacos, fj's, land cruisers, jacked up jeeps and my buddies friend even had a really nice old international truck he had at the wedding. Also saw a nice viper at the gas station! Didn't get all the pics I should have but I was drooling all over town.

Can't go wrong with the classic Copas! They are awesome, and very classy. Looked the same for years.
