He’s awesome. It’s a random tire shop near me that I decided to try and the guy let me hang out there with him while he did the work.

Lift just helps with ride height rubbing. You want to try and not rub during the whole suspension cycle I.e. droop to bump, lock to lock. If you raised the ride height by 1”, and then go hit a 1” bump, you’re back in the same spot.

What you really need to do is cut and hammer shit so you don’t rub, regardless of where the tire is or what the ride height is set at. Hope that makes sense. Otherwise you’re always going to rub.

It was too much work to take the coilovers off, then put the wheel on, and see where I am rubbing, then put them back on.

It makes sense, but its a shit ton of work. And i need to adjust the coilovers anyways, to get me back where I was with Icons (for height).

Its always going to rub. I get it and Im ok with it. I will massage the places where I can.

Yes it did. It angled the mount further back on the frame. We raised his 2 inches as well. Along with the rest of the mounts. Trying to fit 35 with as little cutting as possible. It ain't working out for us.

Pretty much this. There is only one good spot on the frame for the upper mount, and the lower is based on the available up-travel. I assume the bump will go completely flat, and do the mat on metal-to-metal between the bumpstop base and the frame. This ensures there is a little safety margin.
