    Put grip tape (used on truck steps) on the metal under it and on the plastic under the battery.

    Did my belts yesterday...good for another 90k not as scary as I thought, but I was glad to have someone show me the ropes, and have access to a lift.

    i been there a month ago when mine was getting alot of stuff done. it sucks when you dont have a back up and have to borrow a vehicle.

    your land cruiser i take it? i half tempted to get a 4th 4runner as a daily. truck is nice but i like the 4runners and it be nice to have it for as a back up for sure :)

    Yeah, the LC is comfy despite being almost 10mpg worse on fuel. Plus it's not stuffed in the garage haha

    It's a pretty thin stainless (not as strong) non reinforced skid anyway, not as weak as the stock though so that's a plus and it looks great.

    Thx man. I will probably end up selling it though and going w a relentless or pelfrey. It is plenty strong, but I am not too stoked w the all pro skid options. I was looking at pelfrey’s mock ups for the first gen yesterday n they look sweet. Was gonna test fit it but the timing belt water pump took quite some time.
