Anyone with White or black stock fender flares want to trade for Bolt on 'bushwhacker' style flares? they're a little too aggressive for me, looking to go back to stock look. I have mine still, but wondering if it's worth it to glue the mouting tabs back on, since 10 of them ripped off when i took the flares off.

Anyone else shoot texture before? I scraped the popcorn ceilings and did some wall repair and repaired previous shit wall repair and then shot texture today in two bedrooms. Went for the knockdown texture look. Easier than I expected but good lighting is definitely needed.

 

Many times. Timing is everything.

First time I ever did it I used 20 min hot like an fucken idiot. Shit went off before I could get the second wall sprayed. Ended up Using a palm sander the next day to flatten it out. Looked good when It was all done just 50X the amount of work.

 

Haha yeah I used the texture in the 5 gal pails. Then waited about 10 min and then knocked it down a bit. Holding that hopper to do the ceilings killed my shoulders.

 

Im gonna start the last bedroom in our house tomorrow that still has the popcorn.

Disregard the Halloween eyeballs my kids threw on the ceiling last year that never dropped off.

 

I’ve been lucky enough to not be moved in just yet so the house is empty and no floors so it has been easy because texturing is a messy bitch.

The wife lime washed the 70s rock fireplace which turned out great. I just can’t wait to put the floor in and move in.

 

That’s awesome! I hate my fire place but I can’t fuck with it till after the addition cuz it’s a wood burner. If I touch it I gotta convert it to gas.

I’ve been doing smooth wall in all the bedrooms. It’s a lot of work but I really like the look.

 

I love the look of the smooth walls as well but these walls were destroyed and hacked up in places so it was easier for me to RE texture. Smooth walls takes a patience I do not have haha.

 

Besides, texture hides a lot.

 

Ugh, I gotta swap a bunch of 22.5's tomorrow. Nothing like tire bars first thing in the morning..
