    I've actually hit and killed a full grown steer. So I can verify that they aren't that tough. Albeit I didn't hit it with a pickup truck or a bullbar. It was an 18 wheeled Mack truck. I was on an oilfield road and the damn thing just jumped into the road from behind a clump of mesquite bushes. It hit mostly on the plate steel bumper but also left some hair and blood in the plastic grille. Knocked it completely off the road. No damage at all to the truck besides the mess. When I got back to the yard I pulled it into the wash bay, sprayed it off and decided to keep my mouth shut. Next morning my boss calls me "Did you kill a cow? I got a mad rancher says you were the only one down that road yesterday" I ended up buying a cow and didn't even get the meat. :(
