Speaking of, what speakers are you running with yours? Stock HU?

 

Stock speakers with the Subaru kicker tweeters. Stock head unit, Memphis 250.1 amp.

 

Do the oem speakers go loud enough with that sub?

Also worked on a design for a new frame so i can get a longer tongue...

• Removed the old tool box, going to put the cooler cage there for the RTIC 65
• build a new tool box in front of that to hold wheel chocks/leveling boards/etc.
• extend the neck about 2.5 feet
• multi axes hitch????? or weld on the old hitch?

Multi axis. Also consider an “A” shape, versus the straight shaft.

 

Yeah i need to square off the frame so that i can get a V nose tongue. the frame now is like a boat trailer frame or something.

 

If you’re going to replace the axle and run bigger tires, you might wanna just pull the camper body off the frame.

More work up front, but much easier access for welding and such.

Also, less fire when welding.

 

Anybody have a jack and stands I could borrow?

Axle and tires have already been replaced. I think that lifting this thing off the frame would be a PITA! Plus the squaring off the frame shouldnt be to hard. Just need to weld onto the existing frame, and extend it further forward.

 

I have a couple 3 ton stands in Plano. Probably have to put them under the cross member though, or on some blocks.

 

I’ve got some stands and some 12 tons that raise to 31 inches if you need some and if I’m near you?
