I gotcha I gotcha. Just think I’m more of a gypsy type and less materialistic than most so it’s hard for others to understand at times. And people think moving to another state is like crazy talk when it’s just a move lol can always move back if it’s shitty

There’s a bunch of non-materialistic ppl in California, they’re called hobos. I’m sure u saw a lot of them. Skid row in LA, tenderloin in SF, east village in SD

If you haven’t seen hobos in Houston then you haven’t been outside of the materialistic part of town

There’s really not that many hobos here, I’m driving all over town. There’s only two spots where there’s a bunch. Midtown (main st and Richmond) and downtown NE of the ballpark (hanging out underneath the bridges and bayou).

We can argue about this all day but, Texas is awesome, California sucks.

Utah or Washington are much better than California.

They have in & out. When I moved here everyone was like try whata burger. That shit sucks. The beach’s are cleaner. Cleaner not blue but cleaner water. At least u can drive on the beach’s here. That’s cool. They have DMVs. Where u can go to one place to get a truck Registered & your ID done. Not having to go two places like here. Traffic is the same. Both places have shit drivers. Everything is always under construction in both places. What the hell is tex mex?

There’s in and outs in Dallas and Austin. Whataburger is open 24hrs. Traffic is not the same. Tex-mex is anything south of Dallas. Come at me bruh

All whataburger does is put onions and mushrooms different ways with different sauce and calls it something new. Your ur right about traffic it’s worst here well the drivers are. And Dallas and is like 5 hours from Houston right. 2.5 to Austin depending on where u live. Come at me bruh.

You're unattached so it's not as crazy for you as others. It is a potentially resource sucking move as well so I'm sure some people worry you will get stuck out there even if it isn't working out.

My concern for you(or any of my friends considering a large move)is ending up so far away from your support system if something goes down and you need help. You're relatively close to most people you know now and they can be to you quickly if you need help where as in CA they would kind of be forced to watch helplessly.

Solid points but my own hometown friends never come see me anyway. I spend 90% of my time alone. My support system is 99% through text so as long as y’all still answer the phone, I still have the support I had in Texas.

My life kinda sucks at home lol. I need the change.

Hopefully they hook you up with a discount! Wife and I were delayed out of Houston one hour, didn't make any fuss whatsoever and we received $100 off for each.

Nope. I get it. They can’t control the weather. It’s just nature.
