Pretty much. And a DTR isn't as good for expo style trips or shity hunting lease roads.

However, teaching a kid to fabricate and drive on a DTR is just too good a project to pass up.

Clearly the answer is both, and a full size toy hauler.

    *Most :p

I can probably keep up on the same trails, but will likely need to take different lines. I do wish I could go 3 link on this truck though. 3 link, 37's and a crawl box and I would be happy.

Most red trails don't have go arounds!

I'm just bustin stones! I wheel with all group levels, and have a good time on all of them (well maybe not greens and blues so much, but you gotta get to the cool trails somehow...)

    You making the Takeover Event?

Haha I figured, :p and sadly have not run any red's yet. Was going to make the red F on NE property my first hopefully. Got a handful of blacks I still want to finish though. And yup! Haven't missed one in 3 years.

 Where did you dig that up from? Yeah I am slowly leaning to the dark side of SFA. First I need to buy me a welder and get some practice in.

My focus on this trip will be Jotters, the climbs near Jotters, and Cemetary for sure. We should already have black group ready to go for this, unfortunately won't be able to wheel Friday this year. I'm just hoping to cover a ton of ground this trip.

I don't want you to by disappointed by F trail. It is a black at best with the one hill climb a reddish black. It can't be a real red if a trail limo made it

    * In for Friday. I should be able to handle Blacks a little better that my previous RC trips with the addition of 4:56 gears and front lockers this year.

Blues for Saturday/Sunday to hang out with some of the newish peeps.

*Edit - if I can rearrange my schedule for this trip. Still working with the wife to get out of another “commitment”

Probably want to cap it to keep us moving too. 6-7 is more than enough  if we go up to 8, we can always split off into 2 groups of 4 and really cover some ground. One of my favorite days at Rausch was running with Dan, Tim and Murph on a random weekend covering as much ground as possible. Was awesome.
