That's a helluva commute.

 

65 miles one way yep it sucks balls pretty much

 

Im sure that commute used to. Living the good life now though.

Could be temp, if so then just a few days. I would hope they wouldn't perma band him over just one incident, but who knows if that was his first offense.

 

Yeah IDK either we had a member in another thread who achieved a week suspension in that thread but retained access to other threads the line through his name seems permanent hope not

Update on repair: It's been 3 months now. I've been through a couple of small winter storms, road salt, rain and everything is still fine. I even preasure washed it today to clean off the salt before I hand washed it (of course now it's raining) and everything is holding up fine. The Duplicolor appears to be a decent quality product.

I'm a little late to answer this Tim but that has it's bennifit. Now 10 months later it has not yellowed and still looks as good as when it was done.

 

That's good to hear. I had thought about using some that had the hardener you pop and shake in the can. Says it's only good for about a day after you mix it.

Edit: And it's expensive.

 

This Duplicolor isn't like that it's just a regular aerosol clear. I was a little concerned about it when I did this but figured if it didn't last I could just update this post with what I'd found and redone the repair. I have been working on my MIL mirror off her car and when I used the same materials this time it dried flat and never really hardened properly. It was simply just too humid the day I did it so now I'll just sand it down and respray on a better day. This is a great way to repair minor blemishes in a smaller area of course if this was in the middle of a large panel I'd have to take a different approach either in spraying or finishing

 

That's good to know. I've thought about doing my mirror panels. What is the ideal temp and humidity level to paint in?
