Anyone Go Mountain Biking in the Mass Area?

Anyone into mountain biking? Since it is starting to get warmer, I'm going more now. Maybe we could get something together and go biking? Just a thought

 

Ride a ton, mostly Lynn woods. Weekends and Tuesday and Thursdays after work. Hit me up, all are wlecome. If you haven't ridden Lynn Woods you are in for a treat!!!

 

I'm in the Hartford, CT area for most of the year. But, I would be willing to drive a little for a group ride if something is planned. I have been to several different trails here in CT, but it's always great to see what other trail systems have to offer.

 

I have an "entry level" bike, full suspension. With an upgraded POS fork (dick's replaced a 75mm travel, with a 100mm travel under warranty). I don't mind expert trails (I ride parts of one all the time) just not something I need a downhill bike for.

 

you don't need a dh bike just a good trail bike. Hit me up guys if you want to do some riding, would be fun!

 

alright just wanted to make sure. I should be good then. well i used to go out to Lynn for hockey. For me thats about 2 hours away.

 

I have a friend in Chelmsford that rides and knows the places around there well.

 

I just thought I would revive this thread to see if there's any interest in a killington or mt snow meet, I think either would be fun and a good chance to meet some twers and ride some singletrack.

 

What is a single track?

 

Just what it sounds like, basically a skinny, 1 bike wide trail as opposed to a fire-road or wider woods road. If any of you guys live in or around the Foxboro area in s.e. MA, check out F. Gilbert Hills state forest. It's got so many trails you can easily get lost, and it's a great mix of ups, downs, technical, and just flat out downhill fast. Only problem is some trails are also open to horses and dirt bikes, so try to go on an "off" day.

 

i'm in for meeting anyone for some biking sometime. I'm in albany but ride all around. Killington's got some sweet trails and so does diablo. Also just got an xc bike so would be down for kingdom trails if anyone wants to make the drive up.

 

I would be down for that if I could get a ride cause I don't think my dad would want to drive out there for nothing because he rides fire roads.

I have heard this is a good place to ride. I used to go to Foxboro all the time. I need to get back into it.

Im up for a ride if anyones in the Poughkeepsie NY area. I ride stewert and 909. Ususally ride tuesdays 10-2. I can ride any day if theres time to set up a sitter. Who else is around?

is there someplace in between? Id drive an hour for some good riding.
