strange sound from engine

    Hi everyone i have a toyota tacoma prerunner V6 engine and I notice some pinging noise somebody have the same problem. Thanks for the opinions.

    getting there....
    may be fuel related. try running a higher octane gas and see what happens................or maybe the last time you filled up,the gas was bad. maybe try another station.

    somebody told me and I did it, i run 91 on it fron chevron, and i did the seafoam and still the same.

    hmmm..........what year is your truck? may need the ecu to be reflashed or something.

    never heard of a pwm valve.
