Wasn't really expecting Pelfrey to tell me to go fuck myself with the bumper, but I guess they don't really add anything custom to their production/pre-production bumpers.

 

They never do anything custom, I don’t think you can get their bumper without their emblem

 

I'm 15-20 minutes away. When and what are you needing picked up?

What were you trying to have customized?

 

Rear bumper. Want these bars added on.

 

Get it bare, add on here, then powder coat it. Boom

 

I both see their point and am kinda like wtf on it... I understand that they would want to be able to crank out these bumpers and not have everyone coming at them with something custom on each bumper honestly, but at the same time, some people would pay money for the actual manufacturer to do some different stuff on their work instead of having some no name add something to their bumper and it may look like crap? But who knows... I honestly would think that maybe Tandem could do that for you?

Seems like a simple enough add on they could rape you on. Who am I though besides some guy that knows nothing about welding or working with metal.

I bet they could and the little bit of welds I've seen from them look good. Do they have the ability to bed tube?

Dam, kind of disheartening for me to hear. Plan on ordering a high clearance rear for the wife’s t4r sometime next year, now I’m wondering if they would even consider a simple request like kicking out the bumper panels half an inch to match aftermarket flares evenly like I did on my cbi.

I’ll be plan C then if the first two get caught up.

Weld ons aren’t bad, but bolt ons are way out there imo. If picking up there or using the affiliate pickup option, it wouldn’t be bad. Shipping is def high, and they ship bare.

 

Damn and here I was thinking I could get a front without a lightbar cutout.
