    Fresh wiper fluid
    Pulled pork is easy to dry out, especially after it is pulled. That looks REALLY juicy, though. Mighty fine work!

    I don't use my wok nearly enough. The chimney worked perfectly for yesterday's needs. Well, nearly perfectly. I wedged a piece of charcoal in-between the wok and the chimney to get a little more exhaust flow. The wok seated so nicely that it was a little choked down for the heat that I needed.

    That is incredible. Great job!

    Got a day off after a long work weekend and the next week starts tomorrow.


    Making the most of it.


    Strong coffee.....eggs & bacon to get the day started....wife made a sammich outa her's.



    Took care of some chores that needing doing around here.



    Late start getting the coals fired up. Gonna do some ribs, beans, mac'n'cheese, greens and corn.



    Didn't even give it time to set before throwing on the Smokewagon.

    I foil the ribs on most cooks. I take the foil juice, more rub, and add it to Sweet Baby for sauce.

    Yeah I love skirt steak but...

    Warmed up some of mine that was leftover tonight. Standard MO as regular steak wrap in aluminum foil and oven at 250 deg. for 30 minutes. Sliced some onions and coated it all with a little bit of Montreal Steak Seasoning. Have blood work drawn in the morning :anonymous:

    Bummer! I don't know that I would ever have a need for a ranch kettle but still they are pretty badass!

    On a different note, I just picked up my 18" WSM for $50. It needs a little cleaning but other than that she's good to go! My goal is to have it cleaned up and ready for a smoke this weekend.

    Possibly, but I already have 2 WSM 18's, along with a 14 and 22, and I now need a ranch kettle.

    The WSM 18 gets the most use. I only use the 22 when it is absolutely needed.

    Yeah, ranch kettle seems like the shit when you have a big throw down and lots of spot grilling to do, very badass.

    I agree. I know I can get legitimate use out of it 2-3 times a year. Totally worth it for when it is needed if I have it for a lifetime.

    I cooked beef ribs yesterday and they turned out great after eight hours on the smoker. I lifted the recipe out of Franklin's BBQ book. After a 15 minute rest, it was fantastic!
