Remote Start

I pulled the trigger and got the remote starter from accessorides. It was $187.00 priority mail delivered. Ordered it on the 2nd and got it the 6th. It took a whole 20 mins to install it and was painless. No splicing, soldering or anything that will make most shy away from doing it themselves. Now I don't have to get into a truck baking in the Texas summer anymore!!

Just got mine, installed in less then 10mins. Shipped on Thursday arrived on Sunday to Hawaii. Super easy and works great! I also bought the smart phone module which works flawlessly as well as the gps. My insurance gives a discount if the vehicle has gps so I’ll be saving money that will eventually pay for this remote start. Over all I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! Well, ya know.. we needed an image for our FB page, so we had someone from Fiverr do as you see. I use Fiverr a lot for my other business as well. Our new location that we are about to transition too will be much larger and better for our retail business. Also, our "zip tie connectors together" has already been fixed and the new connectors will be on our next batch. Our 30p uses Toyota pins. None of our products have been defective.

All I was pointing out was that you used an original DBALL module. I plugged it it and sent the Module ID to my guy at Directed. He confirmed it was B-Stock. I wouldn't mind using them at our retail location just to have a price edge on our local business, but I have no clue where you source them from. Either way man, I'm not trying to get into an argument. You have nice products. Heck, you even have some applications that we don't have. I started out on Ebay and transitioned to Shopify just as you have. I love your drive and motivation. You're harnesses, from what I've seen are good quality. The internet is a huge place my friend.. there is enough for everyone. If you want to have a chat, I'd love to connect with you. Appears that we have a lot in common business wise. I've still been back and forth..wanted to do the plug and play but for HKey, I think there's something about tapping into the TPMS wires or something like that and I'm not comfortable doing that...maybe I'll wait until someone can come up with something besides that

 

It really easy, just cut the wire and connect one wire to one end and another to the other side. The instructions show exactly which wire and location.

 

We're close to our full plug & play for the H-key. Hopefully just a few more days!

 

So no cutting the tpms wire?

Yes. the truck shuts down if you open any of the doors. This is standard on Toyota or Lexus remote starts I believe. I wish there was a way to drop the windows with the FOB like Acura.

 

I bought the 12volt remote start. Shipping was fast and their install video was spot on as I followed for my install. Great product for me.

 

I had the dealership put in an aftermarket remote. It came with (2) 2 way, long range remotes. Thankfully it also works with the factory remote, but with less range.

 

What did that cost you?

 

Factory Remote ? What brand did they install?

 

All the current 3x remote starters use factory and can add long range remotes.
