I didn't mind it being delayed when first heard about it months ago. But now it looks like it's going to be beyond September (most likely towards end of the year)... and I don't think I can wait that long. Already started lifting the truck to get ready for these wheels and new bigger tire setup. So in need of wheels now because stockers not cutting it with the new lift... lol. What to do... what to do???

 

If its an option for you, get the 18"s. I'm sure Chuck/Showstoppers will credit your deposit towards that or refund you, which he has offered to me but I already bought tires so I'm kind of stuck.
No doubt this is ridiculous but at least it's a trusted vendor at this point. Good luck!

 

Sorry guys for the lack of response I am updating you as they update me. Project is lugging along. Here is the latest update from end of June.

For the 17 inch wheels. The latest update is:

Great and not so great news.

Great news as of first week of June testing has been completed and that phase is over!

Not so great news. Changes were made to the wheel for strength purposes so that it tested higher on the scale which unfortunately caused Rays Japan to make to retool a brand new mold. Retooling a mold can take up to 1 - 1 1/2 months. This process was started 3rd week of July so we are expecting them to be done at the latest 1st week of august. From there they will need approximately 1 month to build all 25 sets and another month to ship to US which ultimately puts us at an October ETA for the first batch. We do severely apologize for the delay but unfortunately in the process of making something new like this, there will be delays which are inevitable. Especially since we are making the best and strongest possible forged wheel.

We will keep you as best informed as we can. For now that is the latest update. As they come along we will message all. Thank you!

Let me know what you decide we will fully work with you in whatever decision you want. If in need sooner I have 16s and 18s incoming all the time. Gram lights has released their 57transcend. We also do carry other wheels just let us know what you need. Your $500.00 deposit is fully refundable and transferrable and if you move it we will keep your position in line just for when they do finally come in you will get first shot at it.

 

Can you offer the people who have already made deposits a "special offer" on the 16's or 18"s if they chose to go that route? I think we are at about 3 due date extensions and we're still looking at an ETA and maybe longer considering the mold hasn't been completed.
