Well got home from work and my gf yelled at me for demanding her to cook a turkey lol. She still did it and yes I cleaned the garage. And I got to sleep on the couch tonight lol

 

2 piece. Just destroyed the rear portion of my stock one finally but have 2 spares. Already hit the new one a few times. Will have the orginal one retubed at some point since its got brand new u joints in it.

I bought parts off of a 1997 Single Cab 4x4 v6 and it had an OEM one piece rear driveshaft.

 

Single cabs always have one piece shafts

 

Because of the shorter wheelbase, I assume.

thanks for the quick response guys. I called the shop and he said the same thing. stick to the 2 piece. lose of ground clearance and a loud hum. I'm cool off that mess.

shorter wheel base. Still has a double joint though right off the tcase.

 

Can't escape that double cardon joint, huh. I wonder why it's so difficult to replace.

 

It's a good thing though, really reduces the vibrations from incorrect angle and joint phasing. You can have your driveshaft remade with a new aftermarket DC assembly with easier to replace joints if you wanted to.

 

I bet it caught people’s attention.
