@Tyler07 truck is all wrapped up and headed home. We installed a deaver expo pack, king 2.5x12 bypasses, bamf hangers, king 2.0 bump stops, a flip kit, extended rear brake lines, boxed the rear frame rails with a dmz kit, and built custom shock hoops, shock hoop crossmember, rear leaf spring hanger brace, and redid his cmc. This is probably the smoothest soa tacoma I’ve driven.

You knocked it out of the park! Can’t thank you enough for all of the attention to detail and going above and beyond on both the front and rear.

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again: if anyone is on the fence with going to Jason to get some work done- do it. I can’t recommend him enough

Great hoop design. I like how it bolts up to the bed!

Great work! I like how everything is tied in and well structured.

Do you really feel it necessary to run a support bar for the shock hoops though?

Thanks dude. It takes a customer willing to pay for the high end parts and extra labor needed to do everything right.

Thanks. I’ve been doing hoops like that for a little while. I cut enough parts to make 4 sets of hoops. All I need to do is get a long bed in so we can confirm fit and I’ll have a set for you

Thanks. It’s definitely not necessary, but neither is boxing the frame or bolting the hoops to the bed, or running bypass shocks. This setup is more for the guys who don’t want any corners cut and understand that in order to allow the shocks to work best and be the easiest to tune they need to be mounted as rigid as possible. Any flex in the hoops is in predictable and makes tuning tougher since the hoops will deflect different on every hit the trucks take. For us. The hoop takes up so little room I see far more benefits than I do downsides.

Without that shock hoop brace the shock hoops have no lateral support and will eventually fail, esp if the rebound and or compression in the shocks is harsh.

@glorifiedwelder Did you even put holes in the bed on that install? Is it just such a perfect fit that it doesn't look like it?

If there are holes, @inv3ctiv3 how do you plan on keeping the space under the GFC clean from all the dust kicked up?

Spent yesterday knocking out a new rear setup on Antonio’s 3rd gen. He made the jump over to total chaos in King from Icon. We installed the TC SUA kit with TC hoops and 10x2.5 tripple bypass shocks from King. Can’t wait to get the truck back in to upgrade the front end.

Thanks. I currently am working on the first four production sets of hoops in my spare time. I’m not sure on a price point at this point in time. It’s really gonna depend on how complete people want them. I could sell them as a builders kit with most of the hoop welded, just requiring the fitting of the feet to the frame and the fenderwell mounts. Or they could be built so that the only welding required will be one leg of the hoop and the lower shock mounts. Building a complete setup without requiring any real fitting will drive the cost up. If your looking for cheap with the easiest install I’d recommend the TC kit. It’s by far the easiest shock relocation I’ve done and has very good instructions. I had a lot of time into the set of hoops I did on the red truck. In total it was about 40 hours of labor on the rear suspension. The price of my hoops will be on par with custom installs. They are far more in-depth than the tc kit.

I’ve done hoops with the tc kit before it works out the same as the soa kit just the lower shock mount sits about 2” lower but still higher that the bottom of the leaf pack
