Or you can get parts from "Old Coleman Parts". Mike is a great guy. I usually get a refund on the shipping, and a secret prize added to the order.
    https://www.oldcolemanparts.com/

    Parts and information.

The Coleman 413 (any letter) is my fav 2 burner. Usually found for under 20-25 dollars. Easy to fix. Easy to get/replace parts.
The 413 is a bit bigger than the 425, more like the 426 but only 2 burners. Room for a Coleman oven and a pot/skillet.

Yes, you can put the propane adapter, but Coleman collectors say "Profane" when using the word "Propane" :)

If you want to get really cool, show up with an old Basford (made in Minnesota) or Prentiss Wabers (Wisconsin) from the 20s. They were around before Coleman. I have a couple of Basfords (No 5 & 6) and a few old PWs, (one) single and double burners.
    Basford 6 seen ... https://terry-marsh.com/stove-manufacturers-a-h/
Prentiss Wabers double and single burner ... https://terry-marsh.com/prentiss-wabers-products-co-stoves/

These photos are not mine, but I have similar stoves.
Well made from a time of craftsmen.

Partner Stove... For when patches and other #EAF gear doesn't get you enough IG likes.

Sure they are nice, but they are not worth the extra money unless you are on the river all the time then it might be worth it over the competitors.

Damn, dude - lighten up. OK, we get it - you had a bad experience with Partner Stove.

Plenty of us like our Partner Stoves - myself included.

I'm sorry you couldn't get a hose fitting that you wanted - I still don't understand what you wanted, but am sure someone could have made a custom fitting for you. Hose fittings are standard sizes, even if some are hard to find or rarely used.

But because you couldn't figure out how to make the custom thing you wanted, it is not the manufacturer's fault. Please quit blaming them.

Partner makes a great stove. Yes, they are expensive. But for some applications, they are the best solution. Let people make up their own mind.

    /RANT OFF

Disclaimer: I have no business interest in Partner Stoves, I am just a satisfied customer.

    I just got 3 of their chargers. 5K, 10K, & 20.1K.
That is why I asked. The reviews are not something I trust.

Unless it uses a USB cord to charge a solar charger won't work. You might be able to find a DC USB to 110 AC inverter but I doubt it.

Solar chargers I have seen do have USB. Best to charge to a battery pack then charge the device from the battery pack.

Relatively typical forecast for the summer. Indeed lightening is no joke on a pass or on Whitney itself. Convection more active in the afternoons so if you can plan to hit passes before afternoon all the better. You should be able to tackle Kersarge fast enough on Thursday morning if you are camping in Onion Valley. Then continue hiking to position yourself for Forester the next morning.

Ill be entering on Friday the 13th. early morning to get over kearsarge pass before the afternoon. Friday night I plan to stay pass vidette meadow maybe around center creek 12mi. that way ill be closer to forester pass.

Saturday. Early morning day to get over forester and down to tyndall creek for Saturday night.

Sunday would be tyndall creek to guitar lake.

Monday guitar lake to summit whitney. Heading out prob around 2am then stay at trail camp Monday night. (worried about this area since its pretty exposed during thunderstorms)

Tuesday I would exit whitney portal.

You can easily get over Kearsarge on Friday morning if you start by 7am. You'll get down into the Kearsarge Lakes basin pretty quick from the summit because it's higher on the west side than the east. After Bullfrog Lake, it drops fast and you'll be out of lightning danger. 2 years ago I camped at Upper Vidette because I wanted to use a bear box for some extra food and the camping was great. If you can push further while still below treeline, you'll position nicely for a Forester summit by mid-day Saturday. It's a long and exposed pass, so hit that shit early as you can. For a long 5 miles after the pass, it's wide open and very exposed until you get down to the trees at Tyndall again. For me, Forester was the longest day of my trip on that section. You're in good cover all the way through to Crabtree except for Bighorn Plateau but that goes by pretty quick and you will hit it early enough. Camping at Guitar is exposed but you're way down in the bottom of a valley with very high ridges all around. Sketchy but better than some other spots. Obviously summit Whitney early like you plan, and get off that ridge and down the switchbacks to Trail Camp quick. Again, you'll be in a narrower but exposed valley at Trail Camp, but it has massive ridges all around that should take the brunt of the lightning. Or, you can push further below Trail camp and get off the high ground in another mile or 2 and have safer camping.

I have an old 14W folding unit that I've had for about 8 years and it still goes strong. It's a heavy older model so I just use it for truck camping to top off my battery packs. Use a quality USB cable for best charging rates, like an Anker PowerCore cord. I've had the best output tests running those, and they're cheap and always in stock. Durable, too.

Keep your eyes peeled for the Georges fire in Lone Pine. I just read they have evacuated the campgrounds at Whitney portal and has closed Whitney portal access from Lone Pine area.
