I don't understand this. How does Silver Sky Metallic not specify metallic??

I was torn between QS and cement. With white being a distant third. Inferno is awesome also, but I am not cool enough for such a flash color.

The lady friend had a really awful on the eyes pug that was an exact match for QS. So I went with cement. Cement matches my personality much better anyways.

Was driving my blue 08 SR one day last summer and saw a magnificent new Inferno Tacoma. Couldn't get it out of my mind, and before I knew it I found myself at the local dealership signing papers for a 2017 Inferno OR AC. Absolutely no regrets - makes me smile every time I look at it! :) I do very much like several other colors, though: Barcelona Red, Quicksand, MGM, Silver, and Cement. Hoping that Toyota will give us a nice dark Green sometime in the future.

Love my Cavalry Blue. But also love seeing the Quicksands and Cements I occasionally see out on the road. I see a white Pro around here once in a while...sharp looking taco. Bottom line...if it's a taco, it looks good.

I was going to get a White SR5, even filled out all the paperwork and everything.
On the day of, in the last hour, when my dealer was finalizing everything, I saw the last 2017 QS TRD Sport roll up across from where I was sitting.

I guess it was impulse, right on the spot, I told my dealer to cancel the SR5, and get the TRD Sport.
Re-did all the paper works, called the insurance company, informed the bank (They freak out hard), and swiped my card to cover the difference.

My dealer seems to stock a very low number of Quicksand. Even when compared to the Inferno.
That is why I didn't see one when I was browsing the lot initially. I have also yet to see a Cement.

No regret getting the Quicksand. Looks better everyday.
In my area, it is a sea of black, mgm, silver, and white Tacomas. So Quicksand stands out a little.

My only regret is, I wish it was a 4x4.
Got stuck in a ditch recently, and a 4x4 Tacoma pulled me out...

*Also my TRD did not come with Entune Premium (Knobs on the bottom)
Is it possible go back and claim the standard equipment?

Cement and loving it. Sometimes I'll see a QS or White and think those are pretty cool too and would probably be happy with either of those as well. Not a big fan of the blues or dark grays, but that's just my preference. I wish they offered a pearl white "Blizzard Pearl" I think I'd pay the extra for it.

No regrets given that I bought a 2016 when Cement wasn't available on the Off Road. I went with black as I usually do with most of my vehicles. Not many on the road. If I needed to buy a new one in the future, it would be Cement

Purchased a Cement Taco. Not one regret.

My second choice was a tie between Quicksand and Blazzing Blue. The wife didn't like Quicksand and I felt like Blazzing Blue would show fine scratches.

I've owned mostly black and dark gray trucks in the past. They both show fine scratches and I'm way too busy to keep black looking clean.

Went SSM. If I could redo I'd get MGM or Cement. Guess I went with the in between and went SSM; also got a solid deal on it and the color is growing on me.

When I bought mine I thought I wanted QS or Cement but I did not want a Pro and it was 2017.

My other color thoughts were :
This is FL the Sunburn state - no Black or MGM for me
My 1st gen started red and finished closer to Inferno on all horizontal surfaces - Red was off the table
It seems like every fleet truck around here is White - not for me
My daughter and wife discussed the blue. Daughter loved it, wife disagreed, and I was not really a fan - no BBM
I am a die hard OU fan, Inferno looks a lot like "burnt orange" (Texas) - Gonna run OU emblems - No Inferno

So really -my decision was pretty much made for me, SSM it is! I could have waited a year and got Cement with TSS, but did not want to wait and got a very good deal (IMHO)

Now I love my Silver Taco

I got black. I regret it except when it's clean. Which is almost never. If I got a do-over I'd do MGM.

I narrowed it down to black or QS.

I’m still wondering if I made the right call.

I went in for white, walked out with silver. LOVE how classy it looks when clean. Black on silver just works. Zero regrets. Love how the quick sand looks. If there was one on the lot (or available locally) I would have probably picked it. As someone has mentioned above, there is not a single color I don’t like on this truck

When my 2017 Barcelona red pro was rear ended and destroyed, I was panicked trying to find a red 2017 pro in January of 2018. I couldn’t find a reasonably priced one close enough to home.
I knew black was a pain in the ass to care for, and I work for a natural gas utility, so I see white trucks all day...
The early pics of cavalry had me unsure of how it would actually look, but there were none within driving distance to view. I took the plunge, put a card deposit on one 400 miles from home, and bought a plane ticket. Nervous? Hell yeah!
It was love at first sight! I get compliments from complete strangers regularly, which I’m not sure how to respond to, lol. I didn’t invent the color, or paint the truck. I just say, “I love it too”. This color must be seen in person, the camera cannot capture it correctly. Different lighting brings out different shades in it.
    ZERO REGRETS!!
