Could someone with the longer sensor wire (88214-04020) post a few pictures of it being properly routed/installed?

i'd like to see the difference, debating on getting the wire myself to make it cleaner.

I just finished installing mine this morning. Here is a bad picture but you can see how the longer cable (88214-04020)is routed.
The cable came with new clips and everything matched up perfectly.

The cables looks the same. This one is just longer to hide the cable better from outside view of the Pro grill.

Thanks a lot, yeah i do like that better, when the cables get back in stock i'll have to pick one up.

But just drove around for a few hours today and had no errors or problems, really like the new look for a 90$ grill.

Hey how did you install the plastic piece? Just received it, fits perfectly into the slot right in front of the sensor but I wana add something around the edges to stop it from vibrating and potentially falling out. I don’t think there’s any areas for double sided tape. 2E503A01-49B2-4DE8-8828-D7FFE79CE0E2.jpg

it was free from custom car grilles and they said they've been using it for a while and it still works cherry. so im hoping this will work. also i love the look from the front. Also another quick question if anyone knows, is it possible to splice into my fog lights to add 3 small leds for raptor lights in the grille?

Do you know if they're using just that plastic piece without the insert for the front of the grill, or both pieces at the same time?

yes i believe its just attached similar to how people did the plexiglass, instead though this piece is all black so it will blend in with the grille. Im thinking of using M1 roof glue, its a super strong heat resistant glue we use for solar installs and very stong. also good for filing in gaps and water sealing.

Good question, I had originally thought some 3m tape on the top and bottom areas on the grill would be a good anchor point to wedge it into. The left and right sides, I don't see a good attachment point to. I'd try to get it in there temporarily and just verify it works before seeking a permanent attachment solution.

Today I spoke with the owner of an auto body collision center and for anybody that was wondering if you need to have your radar recalibrate after you swap to the Pro grill the answer is NO..... The only time you need to calibrate is if you were physically installing a new radar sensor and BTW it does take the Toyota technician an hour or two to calibrate.

I really just don’t get the going cheap route and rigging some aftermarket contraption. If you purchased a 30-40k truck, for crying out loud, put the OEM grille and garnish on!
