You have sliders/skids? My favorite blues are relatively risk free and just damn fun. Run them almost every time I am at Rausch.

Edit:Except for that section of 10A that got my and Garrett's PS doors

I have my OEM skids sitting around. You can have them if you want Richey. I can bring them.

Edit: I think I misread: you have OEM skids already?

True I'm assuming the worst. I just like being on the safe side due to lack of armor.

There are plenty of blues that are doable with a stock truck, I just dont remember them. Havent been in 5 years and when I used to go every year I had my solid axled Tacoma so it was mostly black trails. There are a bunch of trails that have harder sections off of the easy parts too so if you dont feel comfortable you can still stay with the group. Im trying to get a set of sliders welded up before the trip though just in case. It will be different wheeling a truck thats 47 inches longer and has 3 feet more wheel base than what Im used to.

Thanks for the support you guys are awesome! I am a little nervous/concerned cause I've never been to an actual off-road park before and I've been eyeing Rausch for like a year.

So can a truck with TRD Pro suspension and sliders, but no skids run the Blue trails?

Some blues. The rockier ones are best left for when you have skids. But that is only a few that come to mind.
14, 15(pinstripes are probably), 12a and 12b can be done easily without skids or sliders. Only a few sections of 12a are sketcy without them, but we can spot you over them.

@sente3 did all of those in a first gen with a falling off factory splash guard and a clapped out stock suspension.

He was dumb enough to follow me:)
    He did awesome though

I wouldn't know how to drive a short truck.

His OEM skid finally gave up and crumpled like a pretzel the last time we wheeled together at RC. His truck did fine.

Guess it’s been 6 years since I’ve been to Rausch. Anyone in the picture still here?

Wheeled this for 10 years. The bedsides flopped around so much I could push them to the inner fender and they would pop right back out. Been off the road taken apart for 4 or 5 years now. Been wheeling my 3rd gen 4runner in the mean time and didn’t really care about the body too much but kept it straight. Has more body and glass to worry about though. Now the 16 dclb Tacoma. Really have to care about paint and body, plus it’s like driving a school bus compared to the other rigs.

I still haven’t rebuilt my ring :anonymous:

But it’s still welded shut so :notsure:

23 was always a go to for me as well.

23 has that one real Rocky section. I would worry about skidless trucks on that one. And my first time on that trail Lloyd had to winch Tim, David used a strap on someone, it was fun.
We have come a long way in three years.
