Well I don’t agree with the strength aspect of the lca

I have read a few threads on how they have snapped similarly to the picture above. If you were to upgrade the aftermarket method is the way to go.

It's one of those things that you'd spend lots on and get 0 gain without spending close to the same amount for shocks too.

And to really gain it all you also need to go no sway bar.
I might start pulling mine on trail. Takes about 15 min and can do it without dropping skid.

Judging by the look of those trucks they were jumping and desert running them lol. In that case yes I don't think the stock are strong enough. But for our sake they are.

Not that I disagree an upgrade is obviously stronger, I don't see them as being a major weak link in what we do.

I'll eventually upgrade. But bumper and winch are first, and I'll likely be doing the camtab gussets too.

They are known to fail over time. Regardless with the weight that my truck it may happen. Worry about and just keep visually inspecting.

Yes bumper and winch are a great idea lol

The extra bumper weight is very noticeable. Interisting enough it has softened my stiff ride because of the lift.
I'm starting to get used to now it but it did freak me out at first and I was always fearfull something would snap.

OEM shocks, OME Nitrochargers, Bilstein 5100, Bilstein 6112, Fox 2.0", etc. all have a rubber bushing on the lower mount because it's cheap and maintenance-free. The 2.5" coilovers from Fox, Icon, Bilstein 8112, etc. all have a spherical bearing aka Heim joint on the bottom. The rubber bushing is bulkier than the bearing. TC is saying their LCA doesn't have as much space under the clevis to accommodate the bushing.

With my current setup (All-Pro UCA, Icon ET coilovers, OEM sway bar), the item limiting travel is actually my Wheelers brake lines. While the braided lines are longer than stock, the strain relief jacket at the fitting is stiffer. At full droop and full steering lock, the jacket has been strained enough to split already. As such I would not benefit from TC LCAs.

I don't mind mess. Getting that tulip off was a pain. I ended up using a 1/4" thick aluminum angle and bashing the shit out of it. I did this to replace an aftermarket that I bought and to eliminate a very slow leak from the diff drivers side. Looks like when I originally replaced the oil seal the rust ring around the exposed metal had scratched the seal sides as it went in. I sanded it smooth this time around.

Make sure you mess with the voltage sensing wire to get the most out of that alternator. Or do the alternator fuse capacitor thing to up your volatahe to fully charge the batteries

Took a page out of your book. I did the white wire mod. 14.15 with AC cranked and all the lights on.
I had my heart set on swisha but I don't know if I'll have everything ready. Ardbeg looks more doable at this point.
