I am not going to bore you guys with small stuff. Let me get to the point and hear some opinions please.
Been wanting to switch to 265/70/17 for a beefier look, but then the more I research and read , I cannot make a decision. I checked with the dealer today for their lift kits. Here's what they provide:
    1------3" inch front spacer
2------2" inch rear block with U bolts
    3----- Shock extender
    4-----Tires: 285/55/20 Toyo open country
    5-----20×9 ....0mm offset for wheels
Plus alignment, mount & balance, road hazard, etc......
Clearly, having spacers is very different than having new coil overs. I am just starting to learn about this stuff. So please bare with me.
Here is a picture of a sport model in the show room that I tested to get a feel for. And a picture of my poor looking truck.
    The tab for all this is $3450.00. Am I overpaying? Screenshot_20180710-194210_Video Player.jpg Screenshot_20180710-194225_Video Player.jpg Screenshot_20180710-194246_Video Player.jpg 20180710_193554.jpg

    Blocks are pretty terrible tbh.

From a price perspective yes you are overpaying. The wheels and tires is probably $2000 and the lift is lucky to be $300 You you are paying $1200 in labor.

I agree with talking to Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road. Tell her your budget and what you are looking for and she can hook you up.

Op...you have a nice looking truck. Think hard before going to 20" wheels. Get a decent real suspension upgrade for the same money or less and stick with 16" or 17" wheels. Put on some 285s, work out the rubbing, and you'll end up with a nicer truck than the one in the showroom. My 2 cents.

After reading for couple of hours. I think I am going to wait and find the right kit.
    Thanks for your input guys.

6" is too high for me. I think a 3" is just right. But my biggest concern is having spacers instead of coilovers. Looking at pros and cons. The one I tested at the dealer drove very nicely. And I might stick to 17 inch wheels or 18. I know 20 is too much rim.
