Have you considered a 6-lug frame swap?

Borrow a friend's car. I drove a combination my neighbor's Camry, the E320, and a rental Chevy Equinox for the three weeks my truck was on jackstands during the 4WD swap.

I'd like to get $800, I have a brand new rainfly for it as well that I never put on because the current one is still good. I'm 6'2" and I just barely fit fully stretched out. You'd fit fine by the sound of it.

That's what happens when your truck sits in the garage, it turns into a table for other projects haha.

I’m probably going to get 15 feet per gallon when I have all my armor on, the lift, AND a RTT.

Gotta do like I do and keep it below the cab...

Those bars it is on are $50 a piece and held my old bed in shape after surviving a rollover, they even still have the marks to show for it.

Would adding a fairing if you had the RTT mounted traditionally on the roof line have a different on gas mileage?

Maybe, probably need a wind tunnel and a smoke wand to figure it all out. Still be drag from the dead zone behind the tent. Plus having that weight up high makes you tippier too, but this tent is only 125lbs anyway so not a huge deal. They're just not very aero dynamically efficient, easier to keep it low so I can corner hard too haha
