The mirror mount looks different on my 2018 than the pics in this thread. Must be due to the new TSS camera on the windshield? Can anyone confirm if the 2018 has the ability to adjust the height of mirror? I'm aware of the birddawg mount, just curious if I can adjust it higher without any mods.

I adjusted my 18. It's a pretty minimal change. Don't press too hard. I've seen where someone cracked his windshield.

How? Did you adjust at the windshield or back of mirror? Did you remove the mirror to adjust?
    Thanks in advance

I'll try to find the diagram. I think you just lift the arm towards the roof gently. Had I not watched it go up, I probably wouldn't have noticed a difference. It's very minimal.

I noticed the mirror and pillar combined make a decent sized obstruction. Low speed stuff and corners is where I notice it.

I can't find the diagram. There's nothing tricky to it, no levers or anything. You just grab the pillar and push up. It locks into place. Like I mentioned before, dont put too much pressure on it.

You know the factory mount can be adjusted upwards, right?

Yup, still too low. Im 5’8” average, so why don’t more people have the mirror blindspot issue?

You guys need the lower mirror to see above it! :)

Not really. I just find it comical. I see it at work and in my industry all the time; new technology comes out, which makes life and the job easier, and a few don't want to adapt for any number of reasons.

Maybe that's what it is. I'll try that when I drive it later.

It may be the angle where it sits in your view - the further back my seat is, the more the mirror covers closer to the center of my view.

It's really not a one line discussion topic. There is certainly many things that I would not want to live without (smart phone information access, bluetooth, remote locks, fuel injection, indoor plumbing, etc.), but there are also many things that I just don't like from a techno creep standpoint (push button start, rev hang, CVTs, automatic transmissions, social media, body scanners, facial recognition, etc.). And, there are some things that I kind of look forward to (cheap, fully adopted EVs with heavy regen braking, next gen solar, etc.). Some people love some gadgets / gizmos / tech and some don't. Folks are like that, every opinion for every asshole, right?
