If you have the older style with the tab and you run a Dakar leaf pack make sure you cut that tab off before your next trip. I just cut the tabs of mine and found that both sides had bent back and cracked the powder coat.
    IMG_20180625_203245.jpg
I'm not kind to my truck but I'm surprised that the leaf could put enough pressure on the the tab to bend back 3/8" steel enough to crack the coating.

I was about to put my order in right now but had a quick question. Do the hangars give you the little extra bit of lift for SUA or is it the shackles combined with the hangars. I’m running the TC SUA kit and just want to make sure I order the correct items. Thanks!

The lift some get from HH is with SOA and stock or 3.6" shackles.
With SUA springs you'll need the 4.5" shackles, so there won't be much lift from hangers with 4.5". If you need lift, consider the Archive shackle flip.

I just converted from the TC kit myself. From what I understand, you would need shorter shackles than what the TC kit offers to yield any more lift. I had the HD springs since my bed had stuff in it which gave me about 2-1/4 inches of lift. If you got the standard weight springs, I wouldn't be surprised if you have less lift than that.

Yea I have way less lift than that. It actually looks as low as stock did, maybe even lower now. I went with the standard duty springs. Looks like I should just knuckle up and get the HD pack/ hammer hanger and remove the 4th leaf.

Ok, well that explains why you are low on lift. The Light duty U644/645 only lift a Double cab about 1/4". But an Access cab gets 1.25" lift from same springs.
I have been talking with Deaver about this.
Can you please measure your truck from top of the axle tube to bottom of frame rails both side?

I would def talk to Pat at TC first before going that route. He has the TC SUA on his ride and had deaver make a custom AAL for his leaf pack. Because he always rolls with 200+# the weight in the bed makes the kit work right. If you have HD springs and never haul stuff, it will feel considerably harsher than what you got now.

@aj2426 This is true, the HD pack is designed for weight on a Double Cab. I have the full HD packs on my Double cab without any weight, it is too firm, bearable but not something you want to pound over rough terrain without some weight on it.

That said though, if you have plans for an RTT and bed rack...then it might be advantageous to get the HD pack. Typically with my truck to run right, I would have a full size 35 in the bed and a hitch mounted Yakima two tray bike rack that weighed about 50 pounds. When I threw the RTT on it felt perfect, but without it my rear was still slightly stiff and this is after I did a few trips and the springs were broken in.

I run the SDHQ bed rack with 2 spares, powertank, 2.5g gas tank, and pro eagle jack. I’m probably running 350lbs in the bed when I take it off-road. I don’t mind having a super firm street ride.
