Finally catching back up after being on the Vineyard. Ton of fun and got a bunch of great pictures of the truck:thumbsup: Also found at least 1 set of "trails" near my buddy's place so that was cool. May try to head back over in the off-season to do some more exploring since I have an open invitation back to their place  Maybe I'll ask some of the islanders that are on here for some suggestions once I start figuring out the next time I can get over there.

Here's some of the pics from my phone still waiting for my GF to convert the pictures we took on her camera out of a raw format.

You guys can all compare back and forth with your hobby expenses... Imma stay out of it while I sit here with $28k+ in snowmobiles, trailer and gear waiting for my 12 week season to start...

    • IMPORTANT!
Monstaliner cures by reacting with atmospheric moisture. While the risk of spoiling an opened can during use is minimal, a few handling precautions should be observed. While working on your truck bed, you will periodically pour more coating into the roller pan. Be sure to place the lid loosely back on the can after pouring each time. This will minimize the normal thickening that occurs by the materials exposure to moisture. If you are working on a hot day and beads of sweat form on your forehead, be careful not to drip sweat in the open can as any added moisture will accelerate the curing process in the can.

That's weird. It was during the HHH period that we had and it still took over 2 days to cure. And that was only the spray on stuff

I've never seen spray-on from Monstaliner. I know it can be sprayed with a shutz gun, but didn't know it was prepackaged in rattle cans.

Totally unrelated, but do you have the alpine system in your jeep? Was messing around the build page last night and was curious if it is any good or just a regular system with a little bit of bass like most "premium" systems.

I have some smoked LED's in my map lights I bought from the guy @Cativelense got his from, they are a pretty good mix between bright, but don't hurt your eyes. The stock ones, I couldn't see anything.

My Dad always recommended sacrificing when you were young so you could enjoy your life later on when you needed to. You always get the crowd that says "you never know when you will die" and yeah duh, but if you don't die you are in a lot of trouble.

Your buddy has quite the spot, and if it isn't his then he picked a great rental! Looks like a great week.

I know a lot of guys with wives who hate them because of their shiny new snowmobiles, you guys must have a support group somewhere on the internet!

Hey,if you can afford to do it in style, why not! That is also an "experience". It might be dumb to waste money on "things" but studies show the experiences are usually worth it and stay with you for a long time and the happiness you gain goes "further". So enjoy the hell out of that trip and make sure you got an avalanche transponder thing!

    Where are you heading?
    Just read further....I'm jealous!
    For a 5 day heli-boarding trip $10k doesn't really seem too bad.

Technically it's his Mom's but you aren't kidding about that; it's unreal. She owns 2 houses next to each other.....so the house you can see in the background is the new updated house; the other is getting a renovation & barn added in the coming years. Wish I had that kind of money to throw around.
