    That’s a bummer.
We’ve got about 13 rigs going and a pretty sweet camping spot. We’ve got our own tent spots, bathroom/shower, and easy access to the trails. I guess it’s more glamping haha

    Beans most likely.
The field is about 1.5 miles away. This was his turn around point. No known cases of any pesticide related illnesses that I've heard of.

I don't care about that. As long as I'm not growing a 4th leg.

Say what? Pesticides and herbicides are extremely bad for consumption/inhalation/everything. I especially wouldn't want that stuff around my pets, not to mention it's devastating to wildlife because insects eat pesticide-ridden veggies, birds eat pesticide-ridden insects, dogs/cats/whatever else eat pesticide-ridden birds. Pretty bad cycle. I'm an environmental consultant and orchards/farms/golf courses or anywhere else where pesticides and herbicides are used frequently are usually completely laden with metals, arsenic, and other nasty stuff.

Lol and soon I'll be working in an area near you! It's pretty common now that we have to go out and do soil/groundwater sampling at places that used pesticides/herbicides. I live right across from a farm now, so I'm also in the boat that it probably won't kill us (too quickly), but I do worry about my dogs/cats catching critters that have been in those fields.

No doubt! It's really opened my eyes working in this field. The worst part (to me) is that we still don't know the full range of effects from these chemicals. Like when asbestos first came out, everyone loved it because it was water resistant, flame resistant, cheap, etc. Then diseases started popping up like crazy from the delayed effects of fiber inhalation over the years. Dupont, Monsanto, and all those other huge corporations with lobbyists are able to keep their formulas from the EPA so we're basically left to wait for the EPA to reverse-engineer those compounds to figure out what's in them and what the effects to human health might be. Meanwhile, the stuff is unregulated so they're pumping it into our waterways.
