Meet Molly...

This Pug is about 2 years old and lives in the Borough with her owner. She absolutely adores me!

Molly's owner says that she doesn't react to anybody else the way she reacts when she sees me, not even her!

 

Molly's owner isn't bad looking...

 

I love pug mutts! I have one, her name is Abby.

 

Molly's purebred, not a mutt...

 

Lol, I'm naturally a cat person, so I call every dog a mutt.

 

My pug is close to being pure bred.

 

I'm an all-around animal lover, but I'm allergic to cats.

About a month ago, I was walking my boss's dog and I walked her up this unmarked driveway like I've done many times before without issue...



There are no signs saying that it's private property, and it's not like I was peeping through windows or anything. I was just walking the dog!

There was an older woman sitting in a wicker chair on the covered porch, and she was talking on her cell phone. All of a sudden she says "This is private property!"
in her thick foreign accent and it took me a few seconds to realize she was talking to me. I just blew her off and kept walking...

I came out right behind where the Hyundai is parked...



She has every right to not want people on her property, but...

1. She needs to post "NO TRESPASSING" and/or "PRIVATE PROPERTY" signs in highly visible locations instead of just assuming that people will assume it's a private drive (in all fairness, her house shares its parking area with a law firm and a sign making business, which are public businesses).

2. If she won't get appropriate signs telling people not to walk there, then she needs to stop being such a bitch to innocent passersby who unwittingly take a shortcut through her driveway.

3. Where was this woman when I wandered onto her property maybe 6 years ago and took pictures of her two vintage Whirlpool air-conditioners (no longer there)?

4. How about the time almost three years ago when a guy who's band was performing at Puck had car trouble and I had to cut through her driveway to access his car so I could jumpstart it?

Seriously, one of my biggest grievances in life is people like the grumpy foreign lady who have nothing better to do than look for a fight with innocent and unwitting strangers!

 

What kind of accent?

 

Here's another shot of her driveway, though it's blocked by a fence...

 

Eastern European or Scandinavian...?

Why does it matter? All that matters is she's a grumpy old woman...

 

Eastern Europe, that explains her grumpiness.

 

Give her a vodka bottle, and it should take care of anything.

 

Probably lived there when the Soviet Union was still a thing...
