Well today is turning out to be a magnificent day in the world of trucking.
Started out good. I called yesterday to confirm my pick up number and appt time. Yup my number is good, my appt is for 14:00 today.
    Awesome.
Sometimes someone misses there appt, and they can get you in early. So I roll up at 12:00. Guess what. The number I have is non existent and the 2:00 is getting loaded at 12:00. Turns out I load at 1600. Course if I would have gotten here at 1000 I probly could have loaded the 1400. I think I got screwed.
Then, while I’m trying to straighten this nonsense out, THIS happens.
    68D7A9B6-B2DA-4809-A3B4-22BE7A0F4A4F.jpg C9AC48AE-4CF8-4C13-8E6C-B7950CC9D8FB.jpg 1FC3A5F4-C3C0-4C5F-BFEF-0F529F34A14C.jpg 0A93C9B3-9EB6-4361-9735-2585C4206FBB.jpg
WTF? Now I got no A/C, and Peterbilt has no concept of how the trucking industry works.
If I get the truck in today in Fontana, they might be able to get it done by fri.
I’ll load my load and go to flag to try and get it in. Probably won’t get fixed till Monday.

    Wut a day.....o_O

Tomorrow we start Louisville City Swim and Dive Championships. 7 country clubs. 580 kids from 5 to 18. Possibly 3000 parents and grandparents watching. 1200 to 1500 cars. 4 days of mayhem. Tents. Sound systems. Electronic scoring. Food vendors. Beer sales.

And I'm hammered already from prep and set up. It'll be next Tuesday by the time the mess is cleaned up.

Thursday we start the years biggest golf tournament.

    :bananadead:

    98 degrees Saturday and Sunday.

I'm too old for this shit.

The saga continues. One load was scheduled to load yesterday, but got changed to 1000 this morning because the driver couldn’t get there yesterday.
    Guess who that was?
    Ya.
So instead of loading this morning, I load at 1600.
On the upside, my A/C would have shit somewhere in the Mohave.

It looks to me like it’s a stud with a nut on it. So, I have to replace the dryer.
Simple job. 51300 on the truck. It should be under warranty? Who knows. It might be quicker just to find a private shop to fix it.
