Oh it’s very simple. It says it on the horn on the bottom lip next to the DELCO-REMY emblem. It’ll say A, C, D, or F respectively engraved on the plastic. I mix them up all the time when I sandblast them. I usually zip tie a set of four together when I’m at the junkyard.

Take a look at the set of horns I sent you. It’s very easy to tell.

If you’re willing to pull some horns for me I’d pay generously. You have Pick-n-Pulls around there?

Oh okay, well that isn't all that hard then. I know we have pick and pull and we have lots of privately owned self serve lots too. I'll see if I can get my roommate to be down for a day of horn harvesting. What's a reasonable price to pay the yards per horn?

I tend to only buy horns when Pick-n-Pull does their 50% off sales. They charge $6.50 per horn normally, and $3.25 during their sales. You’re looking at $13 per set, or $15 each after tax.

Horns are just one piece of the puzzle though. I test, sandblast, and paint every single one. I make the harness from scratch, make the bracket, and mount them.

Ehh. I still plan to sell it after I have my fun with it. I can’t keep three cars. I plan on selling the Civic too once I get it legal.

Yeah I get that, how do you keep metal for braketry costs under control. I buy from a wholesaler but if you're buying through lowes or HD that adds up fast. Are the horns worth it at $6 a piece or no?

At the price I’m selling them for yes they’re still worth it. But I make $12 more if I buy it during the 50% off sales. It just reduced my overhead, and keeps the demand high since I only do it a couple times a year.

I still buy my steel from Home Depot. Stupid, I know. I think I’m going to start using a wholesaler for this one. I’m making enough of these to have a metal place cut my brackets to length for me ahead of time. I buy the Steel in ten foot lengths and cut them at home with takes a long time.

Stupid Steel tariffs ‘ol presidente implemented is making my overhead go way up. My steel costs increased like crazy.

Ask @mechanicjon - his overhead went up too.

You have yuge steel tariffs from all the winning we've been doing to think about now too, even my wholesaler prices are kinda pear shaped as of late. One of the reasons I've been putting off making a rear bumper

I’m kind of happy I bought my bumper and armor before the steel prices went up. Yeah it’s just sitting there, but if I bought it now I would’ve paid much more.

I got the Relentless Fab Predator bumper and sliders together for $900. Fully optioned Predator bumper with all the optional tubing and headlight hoops too. I think Relentless wants like almost $2,000 for that combo now.

My F150 got damaged during service in the most bonehead way possible. They managed to lift it too high on a lift and bent the fuck out of shit. The weird thing is I was calm as a cucumber since they're making it right. No putting them on blast via social media, no leaving shit reviews because shit just happens.
