Big boy. 5.7 and cabin space for days. Hate every bit of it. I miss my single cab.

What were y'all stock hub to fenders measurements for 4wd models?

Putting in a lift and trying to get it dialed in and I don't have oem measurements.

I'm at 24" hub to fenders and I'm worried that's over 3". Edit: I dropped them down to 23.5

Also, I am running expo leafs in the rear, they are sitting at 26 and 27" hub to fenders which just seems super tall.

Anyone running them on our reg cabs?

    Pic at 24" up front.

    Yep.
You're up there, it'll settle a little but IMO, you're too high - how do your CV's look?

Stock is around 20(front) and 22(rear) from what I've read.

Mine was purchased with a shitty spacer lift, no first hand measurements unfortunately.

Same here, bought it with a spacer lift. CV's were steep at 24".

I set it back to 23.5 and will drive that for w few days.

My reg cab 4x4 measured at 21 front and 22.5 rear with a recall leaf pack and trd sport front coilovers. I remember reading on TW somewhere that 23" was about the max for 4x4s, but I imagine 23.5 will be okay.

Y'all think I might should use the 3 leaf ICON AAL instead of the expo pack? Or maybe take some leafs out of the expo?

Wow so I got about 4 inches of lift off that expo pack it sounds like. That rear end is sky high. I'm going to wait on alignment and let it settle a few days. I'll also make sure to get it to articulate pretty well just to make sure everything is settled and if I have to, adjust from there.

Yeah, I'd try to work out the rear a bit with some weight to see if they settle at all before changing stuff. Aren't expo's drsigned for having a constant load in the bed?

I don't think they'll settle. They came off a double cab with bumper and tire carrier and rtt and are well used. I really don't want to go through taking those leafs back off but I think I need to. They're too stout for my truck. :pout:

Hauled this gem home. 1200 original miles. 2001 Super Sherpa. Got the rack on the way to pick it up for 25 and did the job. Didn’t even feel it back there.

Or use it as an excuse to add a new steel rear bumper and some sliders

I have a question for y’all that’s beeen bothering me for a while and want to get to the bottom of.
Last winter I helped pull a ford ranger out of a ditch when he slid off the road in Mt. Rainier Nat. Park. I pulled him out nice and easy just backing out in reverse, but had to slip the shit outta my clutch so I wouldn’t stall. In this situation, would it have been better if I was in 4Lo so my reverse gear wouldn’t be so steep? Something tells me I shouldn’t ever recover in 4Lo but not sure.
    Thanks!

    Yep.
No problems at all with using 4Lo in recovery situations. Use away, gears are your friend!
