    Hardest part would be getting from the truck to the boat...then going from the boat back to the truck afterwards.

    How far of a walk would it be to carry gear? Maybe a pier cart could be handy?

    They've got deckhands for when you depart and arrive as well as marina carts to use. At the downtown marina, the walk is longer than at the Daniel Island marina...but neither are that bad.

    I made a backpack for carrying stuff while surf fishing. Two rod holders, one on each side and plenty of room inside it for tackle and bait. Even purposed the "sleeping bag straps" on the back to hold sand spikes.

    They’re at Daniel Island Marina and Charleston City Marina. Most of their fleet is at DI...but also most of their members are in that area as opposed to the peninsula.
