@nDub @Porter707 this is the Cloud's Rest pic I mentioned the other day but could not find....

Looking east toward Tenaya/Cathedral Peak/Tuolumne Meadows/Mt Dana as the sun sets. Camp was down the granite ridge and into the woods at lower left.

We were the only ones there...almost...

Awesome, I want to go back, we were only there in Yosemite for a day. Plus it was super smokey from one of the fires nearby.

and HOT as balls, was like 92 out at 9PM. Thank god I got the fan wired up before we went on the trip.

Yeah, it can be a little tricky with summer fires and crowds and no Coastal/Delta breeze in the evenings, especially in the Valley. This was in July IIRC for a "training trip" before we did Kearsarge to Whitney in...uh...August, I think. Three day hump from Tenaya, up Cloud's rest, down the Merced River, up to Vogelsang (holy mother of fucking skeeters, FML!), and back out to Tuolumne. The Valley is nice off season. Otherwise, I'd rather be up near Tuolumne Meadows area or the backcountry.

Nice. The only pic I can find of my short day hike out there was looking the other way. Down on half dome.

It was a fun hike and I want to take my kids one of these days. Thanks for sharing!

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
Anyone have a shop recommendation or able to assist with raising my bilstein 6112s a couple notches? I was quoted nearly 500 from a shop to do this. Costs almost as much as the coil overs themselves...

Also looking for help either adding an AAL or leaf pack.

Agreed! Given a choice, I much prefer Tuolumne Meadows over the Valley during the summer. The Valley gets hot and way crowded.

Those northstar batteries really the cats ass? Alternator decided to go and now I need a new 24F battery. It’s either northstar or those Costco interstate batteries.

Any future accessories will just be your basic sound system with 2 amps.
