Great Mod!! a few years ago I could have used it, baby in back seat (car seat), frantic, out of control mother, Baby dripping wet, I didn't think I had a minute to lose, I took out the passenger side window. Happy ending (except for window)

First off if I ever see a kid in a car I would not think twice about braking a window. But Have you guys heard of the case that people sue and have won against the person that broke the window. It’s bullshit and what judge could do it. I know at the end of the day the person braking the window is braking and entering. But that’s a bullshit judge and jury

    Some really cool shit
Trying to do the color match for grill surround. Had the thing prepped and painted about 10 days ago. Then when I went to spray on the clear gloss the damn thing spit out a few clumps and ruined the area it hit. Trying to sand it down while waiting for more paint to be shipped. The flaws still shined through a little, but decided it was good enough. More paint finally arrived. Got the paint on fairly well. Looked decent. Got two or three layers of clear coat on. Time to buff out. got a little foam ball tip to buff. Got the compound on, and while buffing, I leaned over too much and the velcro backing pad scrapped a section of the grill. Back to sanding and prepping again. No telling how this flaw will clean up. Ready to trash the whole damn thing and buy a color matched surround. Anyone know the number of the Camelback Toyota dealer I hear about on this thread?

Realistically how long did it take to remove the headliner? At some point I want to change mine to black

Here are all the OEM part numbers if you are interested. I know you can get the calipers cheaper by buying remans, but I preferred to get the OEM even though it was more pricey.

They are older model Tundra rims. They were on my truck when I bought it. I also got the OEM Tacoma rims that have my "winter" tires on them.
I use these in the summer. Here they are on a 2003 tundra.

A couple hours, I think the AC is the easiest and best access with both doors open. There's a thread titled "removing your headliner and insulating /sound deadening" by ghost ship that covers it

Liar, that's exactly what you wanted to do. Too late now since the roof is done and not coming off. I noticed under the rear seat cubby's they put small tiles of similar material, likewise in the bedwalls. I think one of the biggest single sources is the rear vent, it roars.

Fortunately I don't live in Arizona. Finished the back half before dinner, rebolted the side curtain air bags and tpms sensor and started on the back wall. The recent fires have the drive through car washes packed so I still haven't done a wet test of the ditch tracks.AC7FC63E-043D-42C9-A200-238C7C4E3878_zps_cd500f7b57b6ee7db8fd296212bfb67d9368c65d.jpg

Yes I was very happy with it. Its an 07 with 130k on it. Since I have owned it, (only 2k miles) I have done one oil change with high mileage synthetic.

Yes I bought them on Amazon. I mounted like pic of my Tacoma in my Jeep and F250 too. Wife did not want her's mounted so keeps in console. I am sure there are better models out there but for infrequent use I think these are great!
