Some other good tables that were included in the map was a MAPvsMAPD this will help with cylinder filling if you get brief lean/rich or spots on acceleration/decel that you are having a hard time tuning out with transient throttle.

Also is the closed loop AFR tables were set to not trim at idle to help stabilize it. The Long term fuel trim gain table is setup in 3D this is set progressively aggressive this will help you use the long term trim to tune the higher rpm area.

These tables and the transit throttle tables were created with the help of Haltech.

I know your not there yet but I hope some of these will help, I spent quite a bit of time working on those.

I am interested in @Torspd Haltech setup as well. I would really like to rip the stock ecu out but I wonder how much I would lose..abs trac ect...

Tor I’m incredibly interested in what you would look into adjusting to run a great idle on IDs this big

Simply input the values of the injectors, setup AFR command, then adjusted the base fuel map to get everything right.

In the idle control, I just set the idle to the rpm per coolant temp that I wanted. I could take a quick video, if you'd like?

Looking here, it shows where your idle will be, based on coolant temps. I don't remember off the top of my head, if your coolant temp sensor is wired in. My OEM one didn't work properly, so I added in one specifically for the Haltech. That chart is adjustable .

    20180709_195709.jpg

So looking here below, whatever your vacuum is at idle rpm, which I imagine is around -21inHG, and at 700 -800 rpms is where you want focus. The small circle might hover closer between -20.7 & -17.7, while also up and down between 700 and 800.

Corresponding cells have a impact on the cell next to it, if too far out of range. In the for cell range that I mentioned, make all four the exact same. It should make the idle very stable.

With Injector Dynamics injectors, since you are adding voltage( increasing cell values) to get fuel( richen the AFR) you can have very precise low rpm fueling. CTRL+Page Up, will do incremental value changes.

This just means after 85% throttle the haltech will treat it as wide open. 85% is the haltech standard.

The .1 helps when you are giving very light throttle from going into decel. I was having some on off throttle jerky ness in first gear. This helped solve it.

Interesting. Mine was 95%. Didn't know what that was specifically, so just made it 100%.

It was just me today because I’m getting the parts to finish the WB1 install tomorrow and then Rob will have more tools at his disposal to tune. Right now I’m just playing around so i can better understand the settings he’s changing today I totally screwed up the idle and managed to get it back after an hour lol. Also look a fire!
