My boy @90yota did this and even might have used this exact idea to build his. He executed it perfectly without much issue.

Nice man to hear you plan to incorporate all of that for your set up. Do you know have a way to get materials made after your cad design or are you just making crisp plans for the fabricator? I use cad a lot for my stuff too if I have a custom plan to do something.

Well @Arcticelf has the skills and tools, if I can wait till September I'll have access to a full fab shop too! Or I can wait till our prototype people are slow and have then build it lol

I'm thinking that's the move, so I don't have to have anything on my roof (too tall and annoying), and no hitch rack blocking my bed. now a swingout with a hitch mount is also the move, so the combination would be sooooo clutch

haha I feel like I already have those with the softopper!

Looking good! I love the idea of a modular bed rack over a softopper. A few minutes and some tools and boom open bed!

Looks Awesome! I go back and fourth internally with the idea of an RTT. If I was still racing DH, i'd do it. as it is i've only gone camping twice this year, and I feel like I'd need to go more often to get the use out of an RTT.
