    Shot cats are why I traded my first 2nd Gen in for my current 2nd Gen.
    Toyota wanted $$$$ to replace the cats and since the truck was stock and I hadn't found TW yet I decided to trade in after reseting the code :D

    i had to buy 2 new cats about 3-4years ago , didnt know there was a TSB out.:pout:

    and x2 on the OEM only for CA on the cats.

    yikes...they're ridiculously expensive too. At least my quote was for my 04. Told them thanks but no thanks, luckily Magnaflow makes them CA compliant for my truck. Saved a couple grand over going through Toyota.

    ya i got excited when i saw mangaflow had them until i saw what years they covered. Even gave them a call to see if they had anything coming soon or knew anyone that did, cool peps and tried to help me out.

    someone on here (forget his username) told me that just last year they started making them for certain year 2nd gens, but I dunno if it's true.

    Weird that you guys had your cats go out on a stock truck....it's somewhat common when you supercharge if you don't do the appropriate fuel mods but you don't really hear of that happening on a NA truck. Wonder if the TSB was for the cats themselves or for something else causing them to go bad...

    Well i was thinking about just getting any old carb legal cat in 2.5" wouldn't that work? Fuck it ill deal with the health and car insurance issues and register it in az lol. truck is 2011 with like 167k or so and tons of blow by the catch can catches a decent amount of oil in it.

    Sun in the lens killed the pic, but DCSB 2nd gen MGM, roof rails, sliders, wheels & rubbers, I think the headlights were the new ones everyone is doing that have Tron-like running lights. Northbound Studebaker at South Street, Cerritos, 7:45pm tonight.
