    Came out to around $550.

Hoping paint doesn’t run me over $500

Any good shops near PA, VA, WV, OH, DC or MD?

Scoop hoods are just like bull bars. What a hypocritical thread.

Could have sworn dealerships can order assembled and painted hoods.

This is going back to first 2016s that had separation issues with glue.

There were a few pics on here with boxes of painted ones inside.

You talking about paint shop or place to get the hood? If you're looking for a paint shop I know a place in southeast PA.
I can't guarantee they will be the cheapest, but their paint work & color matching is absolutely, positively the best I have ever seen and they regularly do exotics and classic restorations and stuff on top of regular collision work...
    https://www.lipcollision.com/

Josh is great to work with and they've got a lot of talented people there.

To give you an idea of how well they can color match, I brought these guys ONLY the pictured front bumper for paint w/ NO blend onto the body, and they matched it to a 20 year old car like it was nothing:

You can say "Kyle the sticker guy" sent you... won't get you a discount though. ;)

Don’t forget the TRDPRO emblem...lol I doubt you’ll ever live that down for those who remember ;) I think I beat @daddy_o to the punch this time?

Anyways I should probably contribute something beneficial, if you’re not sure don’t try to piece it together yourself. What I do when I’m not sure is call a dealer, speak with the parts department and ask them to line itemize what’s needed for a complete hold assembly. Write down the part numbers then kindly ask for a total price so that they don’t feel you’ve wasted their time, so to speak. They typically don’t like to give you a line item by item price because they know they’ll be shopped, they prefer you didn’t know the cost of each part sometimes, other times they are cool about it. Depends on which dealer. Concelli and Royal South are pretty chill dealers that usually don’t mind breaking it down part by part with price for each conponent. This will save you heartache of having to figure out what you’re missing after the fact, and then wait on those parts to arrive not to mention pay shipping again.

How did I miss this opportunity? I guess this thread slipped by when I was drunk and ordering parts, a bull bar specifically. :D

Seriously dude, I know its fun doing mods, but you are young and have what seems to be a nice lady by your side, enjoy the truck you bought and treat that girl to a nice night out.

It’s not for me, but the light/scoop is rad. IMO if you have a non op scoop, it should have something in it.

Heartbreaking. 500$ that could go to the sickest bull bar ever, instead being used for a scoop.

    Are you sure?

Maybe start a new thread, with a poll of course. That should settle it!

    Just busting your chops.

The whole hood scoop/ bull bar comparison is pretty spot-on though.

    Cheers
